RELAY FOR LIFE

FIELD DAY
Our annual field day will take place on Tuesday, May 29. Students will be getting wet, so in order to participate, they must bring a swimsuit, with a t-shirt to wear over it, sunscreen, water shoes, (if available) and a school uniform to wear afterward.
Feel free to join us at these times:
K & 1st Grades - 9:00 to 10:30
2nd & 3rd Grades 11:00 to 12:30
4th & 5th Grades 1:15 to 2:45
Proof of Residency
PROOF OF RESIDENCY
All students, with the exception of grade 5, have brought home a “Proof of Residency” form. The District requires that the parent or legal guardian complete this form and return it to the school with the required documentation by June 7. Please note that this form must be returned with the required documentation in order for your child to be placed on a class roll at Mossy Oaks Elementary School for next school year.
LIBRARY BOOKS
All students' library books are due Thursday, May 24th.
Bills will be sent on May 25th for lost books. Payments should be paid to Mrs. Tempel in our school office.
Teachers may borrow volumes for classroom collections to assure plenty of available titles for reading until June 7th.
YEARBOOKS
Yearbooks have arrived and have been given to students. We have a few extra available in the office for $20.00; first come, first served.
SPRING PICTURES
Please review your picture packet and decide if you would like to purchase any pictures. Send payment for the pictures you want to keep and return pictures you don't want to purchase. All pictures and payments are to be returned to the school by May 23rd.
BCSD VIRTUAL SUMMER SCHOOL
4th Grade Boys Book Club
Guys are reading at Mossy Oaks, especially 4th graders, during their lunch times on Wednesdays. Twenty one students chose to join fathers, Mr. Gruel and Mrs.Kelley as members of a book club just for boys. They're sharing creepy stories, weird activities and freaky foods and they complete assignments and blogs through SchoolFusion.
